Post-Palette Mosaics!
I'm having too much fun with my Palette Mosaic Series! It starts off with me peeling off the dried skins of acrylic paint left over on my palette from the day before. The colors I get are so incredibly cool! I then make a whole series of Art that I call Post-Palette or Palette Mosaic out of these left over scrapings. No waste! And the ultra-thick, 3-D texture is so unique. Just sold "Vineyard Vines" to one of my dear collectors created in this new post-palette style. #JensArt #PostPalette #PaletteMosaic #cfa2016 #Scottsdale
Help kick Cancer's butt!
One of my artist friends here at the show was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. To help defray some of the exorbitant medical expenses coming up, the artists here at Celebration of Fine Art are hosting a silent auction, with all proceeds going to our friend. My "Roses Are Red" painting created from 100% post-palette skins (part of my "Palette Mosaic" series) will be auctioned off starting at $300 with $20 increments. "Roses Are Red" is a 24x24 and normally sells for $2500. Auction ends tomorrow at 6 pm. Let me know if you'd like to bid and I'll put your name down. Free shipping! #JensArt #PaletteMosaic #postpaletteart #CFA2016

Post-Palette Art
I've been getting a lot of questions about my "Mosaic Flowers." So here's the scoop: They are made from 100% dried acrylic paint that I scrape off my glass palette. Talk about recycling! I literally use every scrap. Just started making these a week ago, and collectors are loving them! Message me for order info. 😀 #JensArt #postpaletteart #mosaicflowers
Home Stretch!
I just finished re-hanging my art studio. Here's a little peek. Only 2 weeks left of this incredible, one of a kind art show. Nothing quite like it. Last day is March 27th. Come see me!💃💃💃

Art Show Buzz!
I went home for a couple of days to visit my kiddos in Oregon and my amazing booth sitters, Kirstin Litt and Cindy Lander were kept busy selling #ArtCuttingBoards, #ChunkyCards, talking to groups of school children, and connecting collectors with my newest creation: #MosaicFlowers, also made from my left-over palette paint scraps. More to come on those...#JensArt
