"Aspen Trio"

Merle Smith from Burr Ridge, Illinois, is the new owner of my "Aspen Trio". What a delightful time we had discussing art! He is an avid art lover, and was impressed by my interesting use of thick texture. He had never seen anything like it. He loved how the trunks of the aspens literally come out of the canvas three-dimensionally. After deliberating between a couple of choices, Merle decided that "Aspen Trio" was the one for him...the very first painting he had seen and admired in my studio.
